Origin
The Philodendron Florida Beauty is a rare and exotic climbing plant, originally from the rainforests of South America. This plant belongs to the Araceae family, which includes many other well-known houseplants.
Characteristics
The Philodendron Florida Beauty is known for its unique leaf pattern and colour. The plant has large, glossy leaves in a deep green colour, with each leaf having a different variation of green. The shape of the leaf, a combination of lobed and lanceolate, gives this plant its characteristic look. Noteworthy is the long and strong creeping stem on which the leaves grow.
Care
The Florida Beauty requires light, but indirect, sunlight. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. The plant needs to be watered regularly, but moderately: the soil must be moist, but not soggy. It is recommended to fertilise the plant during the growth period, from spring to autumn. A temperature between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius is ideal for the healthy growth of the plant.
