Origin

Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis cascade white is characterised by its long, waterfall-like clusters of bright white flowers. The flowers are characteristically butterfly-shaped, from which they derive their nickname. It is an epiphytic plant, meaning that it grows on the bark of trees and other plants in nature. The leaves are shiny and dark green in colour.

Care
The care of the Phalaenopsis cascade white requires a warm environment with high humidity. Although it can tolerate lower light levels, it blooms best under bright, indirect light. Watering should be carried out in moderation, as soon as the top layer of the potting soil starts to dry out. Overwatering can lead to root rot and other diseases.
