Origin
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Optifriend Lieke is an orchid species that finds its origin in Southeast Asia and Australia. The plant can often be found in these regions in humid, tropical climates. This orchid is named after Lieke van der Vorst and Lieke van Lexmond, who have a special affinity with orchids.

Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Optifriend Lieke is characterised by its multiple branches laden with as many as 20 to 25 flowers. The flowers of this orchid are light pink in colour with darker veins and a light, almost white lip. This plant distinguishes itself from other orchids by its compact growth habit and abundance of flowers.

Care
Despite the Phalaenopsis Multiflora Optifriend Lieke being of tropical origin, it is easy to care for. It prefers a bright location, but direct sunlight can be harmful. The plant likes a constant temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. It's important to water the plant once a week, and sometimes less in winter. It is advisable to fertilise the plant once every three to four weeks in the spring.
