Origin
The Philodendron 'Cobra', also known under the name Philodendron Monstera 'Standalone', is a striking plant species and finds its origin in the rainforests of Central and South America. Here, the plant primarily grows in the shaded undergrowth, where it can climb trees to reach sunlight.

Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Cobra' is recognisable by its long, heart-shaped leaves that have a bright green colour. This plant species also has characteristic white stripes on its leaves, earning it the nickname 'Cobra'. The plant can grow considerably in width and height, up to 1.5 metres.

Care
The Philodendron 'Cobra' is a tropical plant and therefore likes a warm and humid environment. It requires regular watering, but dislikes having wet feet. The plant should be placed in a light spot, but not under direct sunlight. It is advisable to check the plant regularly and remove dead or yellowing leaves to promote growth.
