Origin
The Aglaonema 'Jungle Red' originates from the dense, tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. It is especially common in countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. It is part of the Araceae family, also known as Arums.

Characteristics
Aglaonema 'Jungle Red' is recognisable by its robust, green leaves with bright red edges and veins. The red pigment is unique and sets this plant apart from other varieties within the Aglaonema family. The plant can reach up to 90 cm in height and thrives well in an environment with sufficient light, but does not necessarily need to be in direct sunlight.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Jungle Red' is relatively easy to care for, provided the plant is in a humid environment and not exposed to too much direct sunlight. It is important to keep the soil of the plant consistently lightly moist, without the plant standing in water. In addition, it does well at a room temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Feeding the plant is necessary during the growth period and is best done with a feed for green houseplants.
