Origin
Aloe arborescens, also known as the krantz aloe, finds its origin in the south of Africa. The plant is primarily found in the countries of South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. The Aloe arborescens can also be found in the rocky regions and rolling hills of the African savannah.

Characteristics
Aloe arborescens is an evergreen, perennial plant that can reach a height of 2 to 3 meters. The plant bears dense rosettes with long, toothed leaves that can turn reddish at the edges. The flowers, which usually appear in the winter, are vivid pink or red and are collected in long, dense inflorescences. The plant is characterized by its strong adaptability, including the ability to grow in dry and harsh conditions.

Care
Aloe arborescens requires full sunlight and well-draining soil for optimal growth. Overwatering should be avoided as this can lead to root rot. Feeding the plant is recommended during the growing season with a fertiliser for cacti and succulents. Pruning can occur to remove dead leaves and stimulate the growth of new shoots.
