Origin
The Aglaonema 'Ghost' is a plant species originally from the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. Here the plant mainly grows as undergrowth in the moist, shady areas of the rainforest. The Aglaonema, also known as the Chinese Evergreen, has become famous for its striking leaves and ability to survive in less than ideal conditions.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Ghost' is an attractive houseplant with thick, glossy leaves that range in colour from dark green to silvery white. The leaves often have an irregular pattern, adding to the decorative appeal of the plant. This species remains relatively small compared to other members of the Araceae family, rarely growing larger than 60 cm. The Aglaonema 'Ghost' is a slow grower and also rarely blooms indoors.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Ghost' requires relatively little care and can thrive well in an indoor environment with limited light. Although the plant prefers high humidity levels, it can also survive in drier conditions. The plant should be watered moderately, preventing it from drying out between watering sessions.
