Characteristics
This cactus belongs to the Cactaceae family and is characterised by its cylindrical shape with a blue-green colour. The Mammillaria compressa is distinguished by its dense covering of short spines, which are either white or yellowish. It can produce flowers that vary from pink to purple in colour. The plant grows up to 30 cm high and requires little from the soil.
