Origin
The Echeveria pulidonis is a succulent species originally from Mexico. This plant belongs to the Crassulaceae family and was discovered by botanists in the early 20th century who were in the area. The plant is mainly found on rocky outcrops, where the climate is semi-arid with a high light intensity.

Characteristics
The Echeveria pulidonis is recognisable by its firm, fleshy leaves that grow in an attractive rosette. The leaves are covered with a light wax layer, giving them a somewhat shimmering appearance. This species blooms in the spring and produces striking, hanging flower stems with bell-shaped, bright red flowers. The plant has the capacity to reach about 5 inches in diameter in its mature form.

Care
In terms of care, the Echeveria pulidonis requires minimal effort. The plant prefers a sunny spot, but can also tolerate some shade. The soil must be well draining, as this species is sensitive to root rot as a result of overwatering. It is therefore advisable to limit watering. In the winter months, the plant can handle low temperatures, provided they do not fall below freezing. If the plant is kept indoors, a well-ventilated spot with enough light is most suitable.
