DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Haworthia limifolia, also known as the Fairy Washboard, originates from South Africa. This species is a part of the Asphodelaceae family, which includes a wide range of succulents and flowering plants. The Haworthia limifolia primarily grows in dry and rocky areas, which has well-adapted it for survival in arid conditions.

Characteristics
The Haworthia limifolia is characterised by its dark green, triangular leaves intersected by vertical grooves, hence the nickname 'Fairy Washboard'. The plant's leaves grow in a radial pattern and can reach a height of up to 10 centimetres, and a width of around 15 centimetres. This succulent also produces small, white flowers which grow on slender stems that are easily distinguishable from the leaves.

Care
The Haworthia limifolia requires minimal and easy care, which makes it appealing to both beginner and experienced gardeners. The plant thrives in bright but indirect light and prefers well-drained soil. While this plant is drought-tolerant, it does require regular watering, but only after the soil has completely dried out. The Haworthia limifolia is not frost-resistant and should be kept indoors where the temperature remains constantly above 4 degrees Celsius.
