Origin
The Kalanchoe tomentosa, also known as the Panda Plant, is a type of succulent plant that originates from Madagascar. It belongs to the Crassulaceae family. This species has become popular as a houseplant worldwide due to its unique appearance and easy maintenance.

Characteristics
The Kalanchoe tomentosa is characterised by its intricate, fuzzy leaves. The leaves have a dark green colour and are covered in fine hairs, which range in colour from silver to brown. The length of this plant generally varies between 40 to 45 centimetres. Moreover, given proper care conditions, flowers can develop, which generally have a bright yellow colour.

Care
The Kalanchoe tomentosa doesn't require much care and is therefore ideal for beginner plant enthusiasts. The plant prefers a sunny site and is good at withstanding drought. Light watering is sufficient during the summer, while in winter, watering can be further reduced. Ensure that the potting soil dries out well between watering to prevent root rot. Finally, the plant does well at normal room temperatures.
