Origin

Characteristics
The Aloe/Haworthia mix consists of various varieties with unique characteristics. Generally, these are compact, fleshy plants with a rosette growth habit. The leaves can have various colours and patterns, ranging from green to bronze and from plain to striped. The leaves are often covered with white, wool-like hairs or spines. While Aloe can produce flowers, the Haworthia varieties are mainly known for their striking, transparent 'windows' at the tips of the leaves.

Care
The Aloe/Haworthia mix has a low water requirement, a characteristic that can be traced back to its origin in dry, desert-like conditions. It is advisable to water the plants moderately, especially in the winter. Overwatering can lead to rot and the plant dying. In terms of light requirement, the Aloe/Haworthia varieties thrive best in bright, indirect light. However, too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves. Finally, the Aloe/Haworthia varieties thrive best at temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
