Origin
The Acer pal. diss. 'Stella Rossa', often also referred to as the Japanese maple, originates from East Asia, specifically Japan, North Korea, and Southeast Russia. Over the centuries, this maple species has been spread across the world, particularly in regions with temperate climates.

Characteristics
