Origin
The Anthurium 'Hookeri Variegata' (25%) is a species of plant from the Araceae family and originates from the tropical regions of South America. It is found in the wild in the moist, shady forests of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. The name Hookeri is a tribute to the famous British botanist and orchid collector, Sir William Jackson Hooker.

Characteristics
The Anthurium 'Hookeri Variegata' is characterized by its large, shiny leaves that hang from long stems. Its leaves are heart-shaped and have a vibrant green colour with white and cream stripes, explaining the Variegata in its name. It is an evergreen plant that can grow up to 1 metre in height. A unique characteristic of this plant is that its flowers usually grow on a single stem, making it ideal for creating a tropical atmosphere in a room.

Care
Caring for the Anthurium 'Hookeri Variegata' requires an environment similar to its natural habitat. This means that it thrives best in high humidity and indirect, bright light.
