Origin
The Dieffenbachia 'Sublime', also known as the 'Dumb Cane', originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. The plant grows in the forest understory, sheltered from direct sunlight by the dense canopy.

Characteristics
The Dieffenbachia 'Sublime' can be recognised by its broad, heart-shaped leaves with a light, cream-coloured edge. The leaves exhibit an interesting pattern of varying shades of green, giving the plant its distinctive tropical appearance. The Dieffenbachia 'Sublime' can grow to an impressive size, sometimes reaching up to 2 meters tall.

Care
Regarding care, the Dieffenbachia 'Sublime' prefers a warm, slightly damp environment and indirect sunlight. The plant is fairly resilient and can thus cope without water for some time, but it is generally best to keep the soil slightly moist. Being from the tropics, it will also appreciate regular misting to increase the air humidity. The plant will grow best at a temperature between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius and has no particular needs in terms of fertilisers.
