Origin
The Pinus leucodermis Zwerg Schneverdingen has its roots in the mountainous areas of the Balkans. This dwarf pine, as it is commonly known, is a special variant that originally comes from Schneverdingen, a city in Germany. Due to the climate where the tree originally grows, it is resistant to lower temperatures and can therefore survive well in colder areas.

Characteristics
Characteristics are the thick and coarse needles that grow together in sets of two. The Pinus leucodermis Zwerg Schneverdingen is characterised by its dense growth, a grey-green needle colour and can eventually reach a height of about 1 meter. In the winter, the tree retains its needles, making it an evergreen plant. The growth habit of this plant is slow and compact, making it an ideal ornamental plant for smaller gardens.

Care
