Origin
The Lonicera nitida, also known as the Wilson's honeysuckle, is a plant species that originally comes from Southwestern China. This species was introduced to Europe in the early twentieth century and since then, it has spread across various continents.

Characteristics
The Lonicera nitida is an evergreen shrub that can reach heights between 1 and 3 meters. This shrub is known for its small, glossy leaves that grow in pairs alongside each other on the branches. The flowers of the Lonicera nitida are small, creamy white in colour and fragrant, while the fruits are shiny, black berries that appear in late summer and autumn.
