Origin
The Philodendron 'Little Phil', also known as the Philodendron Minima, has its origin in the rainforests of South America. This plant has been appreciated for its unique beauty for centuries and has therefore been imported to other parts of the world numerous times.

Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Little Phil' is a compact tropical plant with shiny, heart-shaped leaves that have a dark green colour. This species is characterised by its ability to creep and climb. The Philodendron 'Little Phil' can reach up to 1 metre in height. In the right conditions, the leaves can grow up to 20 centimetres.

Care
The Philodendron 'Little Phil' is a fairly easy plant to care for, provided it gets the right conditions. A light to semi-shaded spot without direct sunlight is ideal. Too much light can cause the leaves to discolour. In addition, the 'Little Phil' prefers high humidity and regular watering without its soil becoming waterlogged. Generally, it can tolerate quite a bit of drought, but too dry air and soil can turn the leaf tips brown. In terms of nutrition, a standard houseplant fertilizer is sufficient, which can be applied once a month during the growth period.
