Philodendron squamiferum

Origin
The Philodendron bipinnatifidum 'Little Hope' has its roots in South America. It is particularly abundant in the rainforests of Brazil and Paraguay. This explains why the plant thrives in high humidity and indirect sunlight.
Characteristics
The 'Little Hope' is an eminent house plant from the Araceae family, which is distinguished by its decorative, green leaves. The unique pattern of the lobed leaves and the compact growth lower than its counterparts are characteristic. The leaves can reach a length of 30 to 35 centimeters. In ideal conditions, the 'Little Hope' will also produce flowers, but this rarely happens indoors.
Care
The Philodendron bipinnatifidum 'Little Hope' has a preference for indirect sunlight and a humidity of 40-60%. Watering should be done in moderation, paying particular attention to allow the soil to partially dry out between watering sessions. A moderately nutrient-poor diet is sufficient, a standard houseplant fertiliser works fine. To keep the foliage looking nice, it is useful to regularly dust it off and to occasionally rotate the plant for even growth.
