Head 2pp

Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Black Kanzi' belongs to the Asparagaceae family and originally comes from West Africa. Its natural habitat ranges from dry desert regions to humid tropical forests. A characteristic of these diverse areas is the plant's resilient ability to survive in different environments.
Characteristics
The Dracaena 'Black Kanzi' is a graceful species that stands out with its dark green leaves that have an almost black appearance, hence the name 'Black Kanzi'. The leaves also have a decorative yellow border. The plant has the unique ability to purify air and can, under favourable conditions, grow to a height of 120 cm. The plant generally has a slow to average growth rate.
Care
Given its tropical origin, the 'Black Kanzi' prefers a warm and light-rich environment, but dislikes direct sunlight. The soil should always be slightly moist without water accumulating, to prevent the development of root rot. Like many Dracaena species, the 'Black Kanzi' is easy to maintain and requires a minimum watering of once a week. Feeding once a month during the growing season is sufficient.
