Origin
The Philodendron 'Pink Princess' has its origin in the rainforests of South America. It is a cultivar of the Philodendron erubescens species. This exotic plant is almost never found in the wild. The 'Pink Princess' has been specifically cultivated for its unique colour palette and produced in nurseries worldwide.
Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Pink Princess' is known for its striking green-pink leaves, from which it takes its name. Each leaf is unique, with a varying ratio of green and pink. It usually grows to a height of between 60 and 90 centimetres. The plant is supplied with 12 plants per tray.
Care
For optimal growth, the 'Pink Princess' needs sufficient indirect sunlight. It's important to keep the soil moist but avoid water saturation to prevent root rot. An average room temperature between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius is ideal. As with most Philodendrons, this plant also benefits from high air humidity.
