Origin
The Sansevieria 'Comet Rocky Mountains' originates from West Africa and South Asia. This species of plant is predominantly found in dry, rocky environments. In more recent years, the plant has found its way to Europe and North America where it is popular as a house plant.

Characteristics
The 'Comet Rocky Mountains' is a robust and striking plant, typified by its thick, striped leaves. The leaves can reach up to 1 meter in length, and are usually green in colour with grey, white, or cream stripes. This plant grows slowly in a rosette form and rarely produces flowers, making it a perfect choice for beginner gardeners.

Care
Despite its exotic origin, the Sansevieria 'Comet Rocky Mountains' doesn't require much care. The plant prefers light to semi-shade and doesn't need much water. Over-watering can even lead to root rot. In terms of feeding, the plant is also quite modest. Once a month during the growth season, a light concentrated feed will suffice. The plant is fairly frost-resistant, but cannot endure frost and therefore should be brought indoors during colder months.
