Origin
The Monstera deliciosa Mint, also known as the Swiss cheese plant, originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. Infamous for its rapid growth, the plant thrives in the shady underlayer of these humid and warm environments.

Characteristics
Characteristic of the Monstera deliciosa Mint are its large, shiny, heart-shaped leaves. They are dark green in colour with a unique pattern of holes, which gives the plant its common name of 'Swiss cheese plant'. The leaves of the plant can become up to 45 cm wide under optimal growing conditions. In the wild, the plant can climb up to 20 meters tall.

Care
The Monstera deliciosa Mint prefers bright, indirect light and temperatures between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius. The plant can survive for some time in dry soil, but performs better in moist soil. It is recommended to let the Monstera deliciosa Mint climb against a moss pole or other plant support to stimulate its natural growth. The plant only needs to be fertilized regularly during the growing season.
