Origin
The Sansevieria Silver Flame, also known commonly as the Snake Plant, has its origin in West Africa. This plant belongs to the Asparagaceae family and is particularly indigenous to Nigeria and Congo. Furthermore, it can also be found in other parts of tropical West Africa.

Characteristics
Specific characteristics of the Sansevieria Silver Flame are the long, upwards growing leaves with a silver grey pattern. The leaves are thick and fleshy, indicating that this plant is a succulent type. This plant can grow to a height of 70 to 90 cm. In addition, this plant sporadically blooms with delicate greenish white flowers.

The Sansevieria Silver Flame requires little maintenance and is therefore very suitable for novice plant owners. This plant prefers bright, indirect light, but can also survive in lower light conditions. It is crucial to let the soil dry out completely between waterings, as overwatering can lead to root rot.
