With a modular green wall system, ease of use is not only about installation, but also about how the system performs afterwards. The trays of MiscaWall are therefore designed with smart details that simplify maintenance, extend the lifespan of the wall and ensure a neat appearance of the planting.
1. Ventilation space prevents condensation
Recesses at the back of the tray ensure that it does not sit completely flush against the wall. The resulting ventilation space prevents condensation and therefore mould formation on the wall. The result is a green wall system that not only looks attractive, but can also be applied safely and responsibly against a façade or interior wall.
2. Smart water distribution prevents splashing
Water management plays an important role in vertical planting. In the MiscaWall trays, integrated filters guide the water in a controlled manner to the tray below. The water enters the underlying tray through an opening that distributes it sideways. This prevents water from splashing against the wall or over the leaves of the plants. As a result, the plants remain cleaner and the wall stays protected.
3. A full and natural appearance
The visual result has also been considered when placing the plants. When hydroculture pots are used, they can be placed slightly tilted at the sides of the 60 cm tray. This allows the foliage to fall naturally over the corners of the tray, creating a fuller and softer green appearance.
