Nieuwkoop Europe has been a partner of the Adopt Rainforest Foundation for many years, supporting the protection of the rainforest in Costa Rica. We would like to draw attention to a new fundraiser by the foundation, which aims to safeguard an area of primary rainforest.

About Adopteer Regenwoud

The Adopteer Regenwoud Foundation now manages and protects a 278-hectare reserve in Costa Rica. The reserve is home to rich biodiversity and plays an important role as a buffer for the neighbouring Barbilla National Park.

The foundation has launched a new fundraiser with a specific and urgent goal: to safeguard an adjoining area of primary rainforest. By adding this area to the existing reserve, valuable nature can be preserved and further fragmentation of the rainforest can be prevented. The campaign also focuses on nature restoration, biodiversity protection, research and collaboration with local communities.

Would you like to contribute too?

As a partner, we are pleased to support this campaign by raising awareness. Companies and individuals can help in various ways. You can contribute directly to an existing campaign or start your own and involve your network, colleagues or customers. This way, you not only contribute to protecting existing rainforest, but also help raise awareness of its importance.
