Origin
The Tillandsia Vincent is a plant species that originally comes from Central and South America. It is a member of the bromeliad family, making it a relative of the better-known pineapple plant. This species is predominantly found in warm, tropical climates.

Characteristics
The Tillandsia Vincent is characterised by its narrow, grey-green leaves that grow twisting out from the base. The plant only blooms once in its lifetime. The flowering is accompanied by a spectacular colour change, in which the leaves turn red and the flower itself is a vivid purple or blue.

Care
The care of the Tillandsia Vincent is relatively straightforward. The plant does not need soil to survive and obtains its nutrients from the air. Minimal watering is necessary, and this is best done via misting or dipping. Finally, the Tillandsia Vincent requires a lot of light, but is sensitive to direct sunlight, so a position in the shade or semi-shade is advisable.
