Tillandsia Sweet mix

Origin
The Tillandsia Sweet mix is an exotic plant originally from the southern United States, Central and South America. This plant species is a member of the bromeliad family and is also known as an air plant because it mainly grows on trees, rocks, or other plants in the wild.

Characteristics
This specific type of Tillandsia is characterised by the mix of different air plants in one pot. They are small in size, varying from 5 to 20 cm in height and have grey-green leaves often covered with special scales. In blooming time, the Tillandsia Sweet mix develops beautiful colourful flowers that contrast with their grey-green leaves.

Care
Despite the Tillandsia Sweet mix being easy plants to care for, they do require specific care to flourish. They do not need soil to grow and obtain their nutrients from the air, but they do need a bright environment without direct sunlight. Watering is preferably done by misting the plant with water, preferably rainwater, two to three times per week. It is important to ensure that the plant can fully dry after watering to prevent rot.
