Origin
The Anthurium Zizou is an exotic plant species that originally comes from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This plant, also known as the Flamingo flower, can predominantly be found growing in the wild in moist, shady areas beneath the leaf canopy of large tropical trees.

Characteristics
The Anthurium Zizou is characterised by its eye-catching, heart-shaped flowers that can be bright red, pink, purple or white in colour, surrounded by dark green, glossy leaves. Each flower is identified by a yellow or white spadix that is often mistaken for a flowering stem. The Anthurium Zizou has a slow growth rate, and usually reaches a height of one meter.

Care
The Anthurium Zizou requires specific care in order to flourish. The plant prefers a bright location, but not in direct sunlight. The ideal temperature range lies between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius, and a high level of air humidity must be maintained. It is important to water the plant regularly, but care must be taken to ensure that the roots are not left standing in stagnant water, as this can cause root rot.
