Origin
The Curcuma Siam Mix ceramic is a unique, colourful species of plant that has its origins in Southeast Asia. Previously, it was known as the Siam Tulip, a name that refers to its striking flowers and its Thai origins.

Characteristics
The plant distinguishes itself by its characteristic green-white leaves and its brightly coloured flowers ranging from white, to pink and purple. A characteristic aspect of the Curcuma Siam Mix is its mode of flowering, the prominent flower cluster encapsulated in elegant bracts providing a sharp contrast to the lush leaves. The plant can reach a height of about 60 centimetres.

Care
The Curcuma Siam Mix ceramic is a tropical plant and thus has a need for high humidity levels and warm temperatures to grow optimally. While the plant can be placed in both semi-shade and full sunlight, it is important to note that the plant is particularly sensitive to frost and should therefore be placed indoors during colder months. Additionally, the soil in which the plant is planted needs to be well-draining to prevent root rot. With regular watering, preferably at least once a week, the Curcuma Siam Mix ceramic will grow and bloom at its best.
