Origin
The Microsorum Pteropus, also known as the Java fern, is native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. This original inhabitant of the green forests of Java, the Philippines, and Malaysia often grows in a humid environment, such as riverbanks and waterfalls.

Characteristics
The Microsorum Pteropus is a popular aquarium plant due to its robust and unique characteristics. The plant is semi-aquatic and prefers to grow half submerged and half above the water. With its green, leathery leaves, which vary in width and length from 10 to 20 cm, this plant makes a strong visual impact. A special feature of this species is its ability to attach itself to various surfaces, such as rocks, wood, and even plastics.

Care
The care of the Microsorum Pteropus is relatively simple and requires minimal effort. The plant needs light to moderate lighting and is tolerant to a wide range of water temperatures (22-28°C). It is important not to bury the plant under the substrate, as this can cause the roots to rot. Instead, the plant should be attached to an object and receive sufficient nutrients through the water.
