Characteristics
This species is also known as the Wandering Jew or Zebraplant. The Tradescantia Zebrina Violet is characterised by its purple-green, striped leaves that have a velvet-like gloss. The plant has a hanging growth habit and can grow quickly in optimal conditions. It blooms sporadically with small, purple flowers.

Care
The Tradescantia Zebrina Violet requires bright, indirect light and an average temperature between 15°C and 25°C. The potting soil needs to be kept consistently moist, but avoid water saturation to prevent root rot. During the growth period, usually spring and summer, the plant requires regular feeding.
