Origin
The Senecio Mont Blanc, also known simply as the Mont Blanc, is a type of plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. This plant is native to the Alpine regions of Central Europe, including Switzerland and France. It is particularly prevalent in high, rocky areas.
Characteristics
The Senecio Mont Blanc is a columnar perennial plant with leaves that acquire a silvery sheen in the summer. The plant has elongated leaves, and its flowers are small, yellow and appear in clusters on long stems. They can grow up to fifty centimetres tall. Notably, the plant is characterised by its ability to thrive in rough, rocky environments and demonstrates a strong ability to adapt.
Care
The Senecio Mont Blanc has few care requirements. The plant needs well-drained, rocky or sandy soil, and full sun. It can tolerate frost and due to its natural habitat, it is quite resistant to dry conditions. Regular watering is usually not necessary as the plant stores water in its leaves. However, it is important to provide some protection against extreme frost in the winter. The plant has no specific nutritional needs.
