Origin
The Senecio herreianus Variegata, also known as the 'String of Beads Variegata', originates from Namibia and South Africa. These types of plants can be found in dry, rocky habitats with lots of sun. The Variegata is a member of the Asteraceae family, a very large and diverse family of flowering plants. It grows in large colonies in its original area, reflecting its ability to survive in inhospitable conditions.
