Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis Papagayo distinguishes itself by its light yellow flowers with dark, almost black markings that resemble tropical birds. The flowers are long-lasting and can keep blooming for up to three months if well cared for. The plant itself has thick, fleshy leaves that store moisture, allowing the orchid to withstand long periods of drought.

Care
For the care of the Phalaenopsis Papagayo, it is best to place the plant in a bright, but not directly sunlit environment. The orchid needs a high level of humidity, but it should not be standing in water. Therefore, watering should be done sparingly. It is recommended to feed the flowering plant special orchid food once a month. When the plant has finished flowering, it can stimulate new blossoms by cutting the stem above the second 'eye'.
