Origin
The Phalaenopsis Theatro Classico is a human-cultivated orchid species. The original species from which this cultivated variant originated are from Southeast Asia. Currently, these plants are being grown on a large scale in greenhouses all over the world, especailly in the Netherlands and Taiwan.

Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis Theatro Classico stands out due to its elegant appearance with white flowers. The flowers are medium-sized with a light-green tint at the base and characterised by a striking, purple-red lip. A mature plant can reach a height of about 60 centimeters, with the flowering period spanning late winter to early summer.

Care
Regarding the care for the Phalaenopsis Theatro Classico, this orchid thrives best in places with indirect sunlight and temperatures between 20 and 24 degree Celsius. Furthermore, it is important to regularly water the plant, but allow the soil to dry out between watering to prevent root rot. During the blooming period, light fertilization can contribute to a longer and more abundant bloom.
