Origin
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Flora, also known as the butterfly orchid, originates from the warm, humid rainforests of Asia and Australia. It is primarily found in countries such as the Philippines and Taiwan. This exotic plant wasn't introduced to Europe until the 19th century.
Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Flora is an epiphytic plant, which means it often grows on the branches and trunks of trees in the wild. The plant is characterised by its long, fleshy leaves and numerous delicate flowers, which vary in colour from white to pink and purple. Each flower has typical orchid-like structures and this plant often has multiple flower stems.
Care
To grow well at home, the Phalaenopsis Multiflora Flora requires specific care. The plant needs a warm environment, with temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. In addition, this plant needs high humidity and the soil must be kept constantly moist, without waterlogging. It is recommended to place the plant in a location with indirect light, as direct sunlight can cause leaf burn.
