Origin
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Boquetto Pinko mix belongs to the orchid family (Orchidaceae) and originated in the tropical regions of Asia, including the Philippines and Indonesia. It's a hybrid of various Phalaenopsis species and was specially developed for horticulture.
Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Boquetto Pinko mix is distinguished by its compact shape and the numerous, small flowers that grow in clusters on the plant. The flowers have an intense pink colour with a white heart in the middle of the flower. The plant is evergreen and blooms for an average of two to three months, usually between January and May.
Care
The Phalaenopsis Multiflora Boquetto Pinko mix requires specific maintenance and care. The plant needs a light location, but can't tolerate direct sunlight. It's important to water the plant moderately, preferably with rainwater, to imitate its natural habitat as closely as possible. A minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius is essential, with a preference for a humidity level between 60 and 80%. Remove faded flowers to keep the plant healthy. The use of special orchid fertiliser can contribute to optimal growth and bloom.
