Origin
Digitalis purpurea mix, better known as the foxglove, is a plant species from the plantain family. Originally, these plants come from Europe. However, they can also be found in North America and some parts of Asia due to human dispersion.

Characteristics
The Digitalis purpurea mix is a biennial plant that can grow up to 150 centimetres tall. This plant produces a striking flowering stem with purple-pink flowers, resembling thimbles. The leaves are elongated and grey, hairy on the underside. The flowering period of the Digitalis purpurea mix is between June and September.

Care
This plant species prefers partial shade, but can also grow in the sun provided the soil is kept sufficiently moist. The Digitalis purpurea mix thrives in nutrient-rich, lime-rich soil. Although the plant dies back after flowering, it will easily self-seed. To keep this plant healthy, it’s recommended to regularly remove the faded flowers.
