Origin
The Glandora diffusa, also known as the Lithodora diffusa, is an evergreen plant that finds its origin in the Mediterranean regions, southwestern Europe and the western parts of Asia Minor.
Characteristics
Characteristic of the Glandora diffusa is its deep blue colour which makes it a noticeable appearance in any garden. The plant usually reaches a mature height of 10-20 cm and typically flowers between May and September. This shrub-like plant produces small, five-petal flowers with five sharply protruding bars in each flower, contributing to its exotic appeal.
Care
The plant has a strong preference for somewhat acidic soil and a well-draining terrain. The Glandora diffusa thrives best in full sun but can also survive in partial shade. It is generally an easy to maintain plant and only needs additional water during dry periods.
