The Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata Aurea', sometimes known as the Golden Yew, originates from Europe, Northwest Africa, and Southwest Asia. This plant has a long history and was appreciated and used by humans as far back as prehistoric times. The oldest specimens of this Yew species are over a thousand years old.

Characteristics
The Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata Aurea' is a shrub-like conifer with a compact growth habit. It is characterised by its golden coloured needles that grow in clusters around the trunk. The plant grows slowly and can eventually reach up to 6 metres in height. This Yew species produces red, egg-shaped berries.

Care
The Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata Aurea' prefers well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil and a location in partial shade or full sun.
