Origin

Characteristics
The Anthurium 'Livium Red', also known as the Flamingo Flower, is a remarkable plant thanks to its shiny red bracts and yellow inflorescences. This plant can grow up to approximately one metre in height. The leaves of the Anthurium 'Livium Red' have a deep green colour and are heart-shaped. It is these colours and shapes that make it a popular choice for indoor planting.
Care
Care for the Anthurium 'Livium Red' requires attention to moisture and warmth, given its tropical origins. The plant needs a constant environmental temperature of at least 16ºC, and strictly below 23ºC. It is also important that the plant is watered regularly, but it should not be standing in water. The soil should always be slightly moist but without water accumulating. Lastly, the Anthurium 'Livium Red' prefers spots with indirect, bright light but it must not be placed in direct sunlight.
