In terms of care, the Vriesea 'Era' thrives best in moderate to bright light, but it can also survive in a situation with low light. However, direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent the leaves from burning. With regard to irrigation, the plant should be watered regularly, especially in the forming stage of its flower bud. Despite its tropical origin, this plant does not tolerate extreme heat, an ambient temperature between 18-27 degrees Celsius is ideal for its growth and bloom.
