Origin
The Sundaville (Dipladenia) Classic White originates from Central and South America. It is a tropical plant, mainly found in countries such as Brazil, Costa Rica and Argentina. Due to the tropical climate in these areas, Sundavilles thrive in warm and humid conditions.
Characteristics
The Sundaville Classic White is renowned for its brilliant white flowers. These flowers bloom from spring until autumn and have a trumpet-like shape. The plant is a climber and can reach up to three metres in height. The leaves are dark green, glossy and leathery, which contrasts beautifully with the white flowers.
Care
In its natural habitat, the Sundaville benefits from high humidity levels, making regular watering essential for the plant's preservation. Additionally, the plant craves a great deal of light, but not direct sunlight. The Sundaville can be kept both indoors and outdoors, with a preference for a spot outdoors in partial shade. Should the plant be kept indoors, it is recommended to keep it indoors during winter, as the plant cannot tolerate frost.
