This planter from the White Label brand is part of the Corten steel collection and is made from corten steel, a metal alloy known for its warm, orange-brown hue. The planters in this collection are unique because the characteristic colour develops during the rusting process; initially, the planter is grey in colour and, depending on weather conditions and location, it will begin to rust within a few months. Each planter is delivered while it is still undergoing the rusting process and is therefore (partly) rusted upon delivery. The rusting process can be accelerated by spraying the planter daily with a plant spray. During the first few months, the rust may stain the surface beneath; it is recommended to rinse this away daily or to temporarily place the planter on a different surface. The material of the planter is metal, which gives the planter a robust appearance and guarantees strength. The finish is natural, which contributes to the characteristic appearance of the product. This planter is frost resistant and can therefore remain outside during colder periods without risk of damage.
