A distinctive feature of this planter is that it is delivered during the rusting process; the planter initially has a grey colour and, depending on weather conditions and location, will acquire the characteristic rusted appearance within a few months. This makes every planter unique. If desired, the rusting process can be accelerated by misting the planter daily with a spray bottle. In the initial period, the rust may stain the surface underneath; it is recommended to rinse this away daily or to place the planter on a different surface temporarily. Made of metal, the planter offers a sturdy look combined with the natural finish. Thanks to its frost resistant properties, the planter is suitable for being left outside during cold periods without getting damaged.
