Origin
Aphelandra squarrosa 'Dania' originates from the tropical rainforests of Brazil and belongs to the Acanthaceae family. The species naturally grows in shady locations beneath the tree canopy.

Characteristics
This plant is notable for its glossy, dark green leaves with striking silvery-white veins. The leaves are large, broad, and have a pointed shape. During the growing season, the plant produces bright yellow, cone-shaped flower heads. The maximum height in a pot plant is typically 30 to 60 centimetres. 'Dania' is a specifically selected variety with strong leaf markings.
