Phoenix roebelenii originates from Southeast Asia. This species is naturally found in countries such as Laos and Vietnam. The climate in these regions is tropical to subtropical. In its natural habitat, the palm mainly grows along riverbanks and in moist areas.

Characteristics
As a pot plant, Phoenix roebelenii reaches a height of approximately 140-160 cm. The palm has elegant, arching leaves with narrow, dark green, glossy leaflets. The trunk is slender and tapers slightly towards the top. On mature trunks, small spines may be present at the base of the leaves. The growth habit is compact and the plant rarely branches.

Care
Phoenix roebelenii thrives best in bright, indirect light. The palm prefers a consistently lightly moist potting soil. Regular watering is important, taking care that excess water does not remain in the planter. The plant prefers high humidity and feels comfortable at temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius.
