Origin
The Phoenix roebelenii originates from Southeast Asia, particularly Laos and Vietnam. This palm species grows in tropical and subtropical regions and belongs to the Arecaceae family.

Characteristics
Phoenix roebelenii reaches a mature height of 250-275 cm. The plant is characterised by its slender, curved trunk and elegant, feather-like leaves. The leaflets are fine and light green in colour. The trunk is covered with small remnants of old leaf stalks. Under favourable conditions, the palm may sometimes produce small fruits.

Care
Phoenix roebelenii prefers a bright location without direct intense sunlight. The palm needs moderately moist soil and is sensitive to dry air. Regular watering is necessary, ensuring the roots are not left standing in water. This plant does not tolerate frost and should be kept frost-free at lower temperatures.
