The Philodendron 'Xanadu', also known as Winterbourn, is a tropical plant originally from the rainforests of Brazil. This species is characterized within the Philodendron family by its unique, compact growth habit.

Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Xanadu' is a striking plant thanks to its large, dark green leaves that grow from the base of the plant in a fern-like, umbrella-shaped spread. These leaves are glossy, deeply cut and can reach a diameter of 45 cm under ideal conditions. The mature plants reach a height of 1 to 1.2 meters and a width of 1.5 meters, and have the aforementioned fern-like spread.

Care
The Philodendron 'Xanadu' has quite simple care requirements. The plant prefers bright indirect light but can also survive in partial shade. A well-draining soil is essential to prevent waterlogging. For optimal growth, the plant should be situated in a warm environment with a relative humidity of at least 40%. It's important to water regularly during the growing season, but overwatering should be avoided. Periodic fertilisation during the growing season promotes the health and appearance of the plant.
